I’ve two things to celebrate today. Firstly, it’s the first anniversary of the release of Dangerous Waters – and what a year it’s been! A real roller-coaster of highs and lows with the highs winning out – just 🙂 Sales have been pretty good for a complete unknown writer and I’m looking forward to building on that this coming year. I’m starting a blog tour later this month and taking part in an online radio interview in the USA. So, not resting on my laurels. . . .
Secondly, Dangerous Waters has just received the Silver award for Adult Fiction from www.thewsa.co.uk . So exciting! Will have to open a bottle of something tonight and I don’t think it’ll be fruit juice 🙂
In order to celebrate these lovely events, I’m offering a giveaway of a signed paperback copy of Dangerous Waters. Just leave a comment and the winner will be picked at random. If the winner lives abroad then the prize will be a signed ebook. I’ll leave the competition open until 30th April.
My ideal would be to spend part of the English winter somewhere warm, possibly Spain, so that I can recharge my body and soul. By profession I was a psychotherapist but have long had creative ‘itches’, learning to mosaic, paint furniture, interior design and sculpt. Although I had often thought about being a writer, life had always seemed to get in the way.
